Storm to host multicultural game Thursday

The Island Storm is pleased to announce that our next home game on Thursday, March 16 against the Moncton Miracles will be our Multicultural Appreciation Game, proudly sponsored by Respon International Group.

Respon International Group is a wealth management firm that has offices in Charlottetown, among seven other Canadian cities. They have purchased 500 vouchers for Thursday’s game, and have been distributed by
Crystal Jin of Respon International Group believes that sponsoring events in the community helps stimulate the economy.

“At Respon, we believe that it is very important to provide a better stage for promoting and supporting growth and prosperity in the Island community. We hope to help new Islanders understand Canadian culture, and we hope to provide them with the resources necessary to adjust to their new community.”

Ally Guo of Gigigu shares Jin’s belief in an inclusive Island community, and she is appreciative of the opportunity that Respon is providing to new Islanders.

“Many thanks to Respon International for sponsoring this fantastic event. Gigigu, and all new Islanders are pleased to be a part of the Island dream.”

Thursday’s game will be the second of back-to-back games against the Moncton Miracles, with tipoff set for 7 p.m. at Eastlink Centre.
